L G Drum Lessons is a 1-to-1 private drum tuition school operating in Torbay, South Devon, England covering Torquay, Paignton,Brixham, Newton Abbot and surrounding areas.
We are a registered Trinity London College digital exam centre with 100% pass rate across all examining boards. This means you can now do your drum exams from the comfort of your own home! We offer a one stop shop for all things drums in the Trinity London College, Trinity Rock & Pop syllabus & Rockschool syllabus.
Our lessons are available via Skype & Zoom to all skill levels from beginner students right through to advanced players.
If learning online isn't for you we can have one of our tutors visit you at home and bring all the equipment needed if you don't have your own!

Lawrence has over ten years professional experience working all over the world with industry leading companies and artists.
Lawrence teaches all ages, abilities and styles to grade 8 standard and encourages his students to read music and practice good technique.
His professionalism and love for what he does has seen him complete numerous contracts for P&O Cruises, BBC, TEDTalent and many more. He has performed at some of the UK's most prestigious venues including Birmingham Symphony Hall, London Palladium and the world famous Cavern Club, Liverpool.

How much are online lessons?Lessons start as little as just £7.50! We also have a range of offers running inluding block booking discounts.

Do I have to learn to read music?No, learning to read musc is optional and will only be taught if you want to learn the theory behind your drumming. We encoutrage our students to learn to read and understand basic notation, this will greatly imrove their chances of success and emplyment withing the music industry should they want to futher their learning.

Do you teach all ages?Yes, we offer lessons to ages 6 and above. Our home visittuition caters to your learning needs provding adjustable equipment to ensure your child can comfortably reach the pedals and full drum kit.

Can I learn drum grades?Yes, at L G Drum Lessons we graded learning from both the Rockschool and Trinity College exam boards. With a 100% pass rate we pride ourselves on attention to detail to get every student the result they are aiming for.

What if I don't have a drum kit ?No problem at all, you can opt for the home visit drum lessons option and we can bring everything you need to you!

Do you have DBS (CRB) check?Yes, we ensure all of our tutors have up to date enhanced DBS checks. Available upon request.
